Due to Corona, I cannot write a statement about the forest spirit. The place was closed. We were there, before the big rush, to hike in the snow. There are plenty of parking spaces and plenty of beautiful forest paths. There are two signposted paths. A short and a long hiking route.

We ate there in the summer, food was great, service too. Can just be recommended.

Very pleasant location, delicious food, prices are still in the green area, very child friendly. The selection of drinks and food should be a bit larger, especially for people who do not want to eat meat. We'll be back for sure.

Been back for the first time after 15 years, new owner but price-performance ratio is still great, you can't fault it. Steak got the wrong number of grams was then corrected and an additional steak with additional fries served top service!

We were guests in this restaurant last night. Basically we all enjoyed it. However, there was a piece of plastic / rubber in my food. In addition, the service leaves a lot to be desired. At the beginning our order was taken relatively quickly. The food was also served promptly (even if the Käsespätzle were served a few minutes before the others were eaten). The clearing of the empty plates and the payment unfortunately took a lot longer. The empty plates were at the table for at least a quarter of an hour and were only cleared when we informed the employee that we would like to pay. It was then called "The colleague is coming soon", which was not the case. So we went up front to pay. The employees also didn't go into the plastic part in my food.

Were there today with 6 people. The food was not only plentiful but also delicious. The service was prompt and very friendly and attentive. Really all good. We can recommend it very much. On request there is also an extra 4 espresso and biscuits.

Great ambience and the food just great. A former train station has been wonderfully restored so that not only the food is something to look at.

As always great. Mega delicious food. Super nice team. Despite Corona, you feel good there. Because they set up large Plexiglas panes between the tables. This also gives you a little more privacy at the table. I find a great solution.

Quality declines. Sure, they are bigger portions. Almost everything frozen except for the schnitzel. The sauces come out of the bag All the dishes are totally unseasoned. Hygiene, well, leaves a lot to be desired, especially with Covid.

Stop for a stop after a 30km bike tour. We wanted to sit down for a cold beer. We did eat gratinated feta and sausage salad. It tasted great. Service was very attentive. TOP. The wooden huts can be reserved in advance. Very quaint.

A very good price-performance ratio👍 The beer garden is beautiful. So far I have always been to Diedenbergen Essen. But the atmosphere is better in Wiesbaden. And we will be back soon.

After a long hike, the "forest spirit" was our goal. All demands of the pandemic were fulfilled by the restaurant, which unfortunately cannot always be said of the guests. You could sit by far in the garden under old trees or umbrellas. The service was very friendly and thoughtful. Our thirst and hunger were naturally quenched. We will certainly take one or two hikes with this goal in mind. We were very satisfied.

Pulled Pork Burger is excellent!

In the middle of the Taunus above Wiesbaden, the Waldgeist restaurant is on the hill to the Iron Hand. It is nicely decorated and there is a cozy garden. There is a lunch menu and a general menu. The prices are moderate and there are various schnitzel with delicious sauces. It is recommended to visit the local.

Very nice staff, great service. Children are welcome guests. Food very good and plentiful. Special requests are fulfilled without problems. To recommend. We would love to come back ☺️☺️

The outside area is beautifully designed. Fast service and friendly. Always asking if everything was fine and in order.

Food was not amazing but the location it is!

Split the crazy burger 4 ways and it worked. Didn't split my beer though. Not used to curry in burgers, ice free cokes, and no ketchup bottles but the staff took care of us. Good place.

Love place in the Woods... Can only recommend.

Expensive Tourist Food......bland taste, pretty sure it is pre-prepared frozen food that is heated in a microwave. Not worth going out of your way to visit.

Good place for kids. Could find only few animals. Good place for picnic.

Amazing location and service!

Friendly welcome from some lovely staff. The food was quick, Very Tasty a arrived quickly. They have an amazing XXL menu with huge portions. Great selection of drinks and alcohol free beers as well. Set in a lovely wooded area perfect for rambling to work the food off.
